About me

Professional experience

I have more than 15 years of experience in diverse mental health settings in London, UK. I am an Integrative counselling psychologist and I draw on a range of evidence based psychological models to help to create a collaborative therapeutic experience and treatment including Eye-Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).


Currently, I am working partime for a trauma service in the NHS, and partime privately.

I have experience of working with a diverse range of adult mental health difficulties including; complex post-traumatic stress disorder, childhood sexual, emotional, and/or physical abuse, neglect, anxiety, depression, loss, bereavement, addiction, relationship problems, drug and alcohol misuse, problems related to living with chronic illness, problems related to living with HIV as well as working with other psychological related issues that impact on our relationship with others. This involves managing depression and anxiety and relationship stress.

I have worked for several NHS trusts in London including trauma, homeless, sexual health, HIV, addiction, mood, anxiety and personality specialist services, IAPT and for the charity MIND.

Qualifications and training

Through my training as a Counselling Psychologist I have experience of using a range of different psychological approaches, and of working with clients experiencing differing mental health difficulties

My qualifications are as follows:

EMDR Therapist Diploma, Richman EMDR Training
DPsych, Doctorate in Counselling Psychology City University, London.
MSc in Counselling Psychology, City University London.
Postgraduate Diploma in cognitive behavioural interventions (CBT), University College London (UCL).
BSc (Hons) in psychology, Goldsmiths University, London

Before training as a Psychologist I worked within design and have a BA in Arts and Design, Beckman’s School of Design, Stockholm, Sweden.
